Vancouver Sun

The Vancouver Sun has released an article proclaiming the economical benefits a universal affordable child care program would have. According to a report released by The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, a $10 a day child care system would grow the provinces economy by 3.9 million and generate 1.3 billion in government revenue. Researchers have estimated the cost of implementing this plan to be $1.5 billion in a 10 year period. To see full article click here
