Complaint reviews against unlicensed Ontario daycares ordered after toddler died

This article talks about the fact that the complaints that were made against the Vaughan childcare where a toddler died, had not been followed up by the Ministry. Ontario Education Minister Liz Sandals stated “I learned earlier today that the ministry did not respond to all previous complaints made against this unlicensed provider, as is the normal policy of the ministry". The ministry will review "this lack of compliance and take appropriate actions as necessary". The cause of death is unknown, however an autopsy is scheduled within the next two days.
