Our new 2006 version of A Guide to Child Care in Ontario includes a review of current child care and related policy, barriers to quality care, benefits of child care, legislation, existing services, parental involvement, financing and subsidies, advocacy and the responsibilities of all three levels of government.
With opinions and perspectives from marginalized communities, the Guide also discusses the sources of exclusion in current child care policy and identifies possible solutions for future policy development. Project website »

In 1994 we compiled Strategies For Working Families. It served as a valuable resource for unions & activists during the 1990s. While many of the issues have not changed, the information about union achievements, workers’ lives, government programs and workplaces was getting very dated, so we brought that information up to date in Bargaining for Work and Life.
