Inside Ottawa Valley
The Arnprior and District Child Care Services, ADCCS, will run a new child care centre in Renfrew County. The child care centre is being built in St. Thomas the Apostale Catholic School. The funding is being provided by the Ontario government's Schools First Child Care Retrofit program and hopes to be completed by fall 2014. ADCCS already runs the Leaps and Bounds Children's Centre. They also hope to provided more high quality, licensed child care spaces for families in the Renfrew area. The centre will provided spaces for toddler and preschool children. Once the child care centre is up and running, an extended day program and before and after school programs for the students of St. Thomas the Apostle School will be offered.
