Feds, Indigenous groups agree on $1.7-billion spending plan for child care

The federal government has agreed to provide $1.7 billion dollars to three Indigenous organizations over the next ten years as part of the government's commitment to spend $7 billion dollars on child care and early learning initiatives. This money is meant to give more opportunities to Indigenous children to receive quality child care on and off reserve.
