Child's death raises private daycare questions

After a child’s death in Vaughan many questions are being raised about private child care. There is a huge demand for child care and there is very little government oversight for private child care. Don Giesbrecht, CEO Canadian Child Care Federation said"the majority of child care in this country is being done in unregulated unmonitored, unlicensed, environments”. “Until somebody says something is wrong, there's no mechanism that's going to stop them. There's no daycare policy that are going to shut you down unless there's a formal complaint."
