On October 10th 2013, the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care partnered with student unions from Ryerson University, George Brown College and the University of Toronto to present an awareness event on Why Access to Affordable Childcare Is a Student Issue!

The successful event, with many George Brown and Ryerson students in attendance, featured a collaborative panel presented by by each student union. Topics around the cost of child care, subsidies and personal experiences were all presented in an effort to spread awareness around the issues in the early childhood sector as well as how you can take action! Thank you to each representative from the student unions who took the time out to take part in this panel.
